“What does love have to do with my business plan?”
This is a question I receive a lot in my coaching. When I start talking about the heart chakra and love and being open to receiving, many people wonder, what is this woo-woo woman talking about? How can this have anything to do with my business?
The secret is, if you want to launch a business and you wish to see that business succeed… you must first fall in love with YOURSELF. In this moment of open-heartedness and surrender, you must open your heart to all possibilities and let go of old pain that may be stopping your heart from expanding.
Love is the secret to business success. Love is the core of your evolution.
First, Love Yourself
In the famous words of the inspiring Ru Paul, “If you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?” Well, in this case, the ‘somebody else’ is your business.
By devoting time to yourself and honoring the self-love that we all deserve, you can harness this loving energy and infuse it into your business. No good business venture ever came from a ‘cup half full’ mindset, so take the time to nurture yourself and fill up your cup before sharing your true purpose with the world. Spend moments in silence, meditate, practice heart-opening yoga flows — whatever makes you feel most alive, do that. Commit to loving yourself so that you can radiate this love onto your business and inspire others around you.
When you discover your dharma, you can begin to live your purpose. Only when you have a sense of knowing, an inner glow that arrives from self-worth, can you then continue on your path to success. Never allow a lack of self-worth to stand in your way, love heals all.
Glow From the Inside out
I invite you to slow down for a moment and return to the natural rhythm of your breath. From this place of stillness, take three deep breaths. With every inhale, imagine that you are filling your lungs up with loving energy and infusing this sacredness into every inch of your being. Now, with every exhale, let go of what no longer serves you, release any negativity, doubt, and fear. You should feel a sense of lightness as the prana, life force, ignites within. Try this simple yet effective breathing exercise each morning as you rise to set up for a day of success. Carry this love and light with you throughout your day.

Then Love Your Business

When we move from a place of love, we attract greatness. As The Secret taught us, like attracts like. Expressing gratitude invites a magnitude of love.
Love allows us to elevate and vibrate in harmony with all the greatness that appears in our daily lives. You may notice that when you are moving from a place of love, you notice the beauty in simplicity. You could be walking down the street and pause to take it all in. The bright, beautiful flower that’s growing in the garden or the adorable, innocent dog who expresses nothing but love as he enjoys his morning walk, smiling ear to ear. That’s infinite love right there and these living things don’t even know it!
Anchor in Love
As we have discovered profound love for ourselves, we can now radiate this love onto others, including our business. Where attention goes, energy flows. Radiate Love into your business and allow this energy to ignite your growth. It’s time to create and elevate.

If you feel that you need a little pick-me-up during your day, try to think of just 5 things that you are grateful for and acknowledge how your mindset shifts. When we are in a state of love, we can give our business the TLC that it needs to grow. Notice these small yet mighty changes as you continue o your self-love journey you’ll be amazed at what operating from a place of love can help you achieve.

Finally, Love Your Sales
They say, “Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Let me ask you, do you remember what it feels like to fall in love? In the same way, you fell in love with your lover, your significant other, or your spouse, what if you spent some time falling in love with your business, your clients, or your creative process?
You can’t fake this! You can’t friend zone this! You can’t surface-level this stuff! LOVE is at the core of it all.
When you love yourself then infuse this loving energy into your business you can watch your journey transform before your eyes. Continue to stay humble and be grateful for every little milestone along the way as life is not only about the destination but the journey that takes us there is where we find the most joy. Embrace the lessons along the way and remember, love always wins. We come from love, we exist in love and from love we shall return.
