This Weekend Changed My Life…

I’m Stuck at an Airport

I’m at Tampa International Airport and I’m stuck. My connecting flight was delayed for three hours, then four hours, then five hours, and now I won’t leave here until 7:15 p.m. And yet…it’s such a blessing in disguise!

Because now I can sit and write to you…

This weekend I attended Speak, Write, Promote, a conference by Hay House featuring best-selling Self Help author, Cheryl Richardson. and President of Hay House Reid Tracy. I saved up every penny to attend this conference. I taught yoga classes, I practiced Reiki healing, I did Angel Card readings, and I even reached out to friends and family through Indiegogo to support me in taking this trip to Chicago. People that I cannot thank enough!

And this weekend, my life was changed.

You see, I had been living in the fear. The doubt. The chains that hold you back. I had been preaching and helping people in every capacity of my being but I had neglected to look at the most important part of this picture: my SELF.

You cannot aim to help other people if you are not helping yourself.

So this weekend, I learned a lesson that I should have learned years ago: I learned to vanquish the fear and start living my truth.

I’m so excited for the possibilities that lie ahead of me. Because while I might be STUCK at this airport, I am no longer STUCK in my old patterns of self doubt and self sabotage.

My book is on it’s way and I cannot wait to share it will all of you.

Keep following your heart.

This quote by Ram Dass says it all, “The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can’t be organized or regulated. It isn’t true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.”
Ram Dass
